Tutorial and Study Group Coordinator

Christine joined the CFAR team in August, 2007. Christine oversees and coordinates the Student Support Services (SSS) tutorial and CFAR study group services. Christine also meets with students looking for course-specific assistance to provide an initial assessment, to identify academic-related needs, and to coordinate or provide appropriate support to address these needs. She also trains and supervises SSS tutors and study group facilitators.

Christine enjoys spending time with her family and friends through hiking, camping, snowboarding, snowmobiling, SCUBA diving, water skiing, canoeing and simply being outdoors with good company. Christine has traveled throughout the western United States and Caribbean and taken one Trans-Atlantic trek to London. She and her husband also take many trips to family cabins in the mountains of NH and VT.

Background: Grew up in the Lakes Region of NH and was the first in her family to attend college. She worked as an academic mentor for CFAR while an undergraduate and received a BA in Psychology from UNH. Upon graduating she spent ten years in Boston working as an admissions counselor for Quincy College, as a human resource professional for Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and Ahold USA, and as a patient/family advocate for Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Christine in investigating graduate work in counseling, She is very excited to be back in her home state and working in a role that will allow her to give back to the UNH community.
