Graduate
Scholarships, Grants, and Fellowships
Your major resources for finding funding
at the graduate level are your faculty advisor and the graduate
programs to which you apply. In addition, the UNH
Fellowships Office (Hood House) assists high-achieving, UNH
students in applying for competitive national and international
scholarships and fellowships to help fund their graduate studies.
There are also numerous resources that provide both information
and funding assistance for graduate study.
- The Council
of Graduate Schools -- a great place to learn about the types
of graduate school funding; has links to fellowship award sites
for different disciplines.
- Students.gov
-- an excellent resource for fellowships, grants, loan repayment
programs, training programs and more.
- The Cornell
Fellowship Notebook -- a comprehensive database of graduate
fellowship funding across disciplines; vast majority of information
for students applying to or attending any US graduate school;
searchable by discipline, deadline or keyword(s).
- GradSchools.com --
a good source of general graduate school information, including
a searchable data base of graduate study programs by discipline
and school
- Soros Fellowships for
"new Americans" pursuing graduate studies. Student must
be not older than thirty years of age and a naturalized citizen
or resident alien and intend to remain in US and become a citizen
- or have parents, both of whom are naturalized citizens.
- TERi
College Access -- provides information for fellowships and
scholarships in professional fields.
- UNH
Graduate School -- has a searchable data base by key word
and level of study (PhD or Graduate).
